Naked Marionette

Lee writes:

Tuesday morning, my wife called me at home and said that I needed to take photos of a life-size puppet hanging in the trees above a bus stop near our apartment.

It looked a bit creepy hanging there amongst the trees, but the dedication that went into it is amazing. (the word on her chest says "shine") By Tuesday afternoon it had fallen down and by Wednesday afternoon it was gone. I hope the artist took it. It would be interesting to know who the artist was.

This also, by the way, is where the boot with the banana peel in it was. Go inner NE for weirdness!"

p.s. I should mention that this particular newspaper box always has some assortment of shoes sitting on top of it. Sometimes two boots, sometimes a boot and a shoe, sometimes just some insoles ... but now it has been topped with the banana peel.

August PR event, sidewalk by the Opera's East Bank HQ. Snacks and kegs of Widmer. Signs on lampposts and the sidewalk. Coincidentally, PFD showed up and layed down about 50 yards of fire hose between their truck and a brush fire.
