I always knew something fishy was going on

- Submitted by Lusus Naturae, who writes: "I was at the Sylvania campus of PCC today waiting for a friend. Apparently the college's 50th anniversary is coming up, and there's a big bulletin board in the Campus Center for people to leave notes for various ideas about how to celebrate, what to do for the next 50 years, and the like. This caught my eye, and it really does explain a lot about my experiences with the Rock Creek campus."

Chalked

- Submitted by Jonathan, who writes: "I saw this along the Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade last week, amid a whole bunch of other chalk drawings on the sidewalks. Not sure if someone intentionally misspelled chalk as "chaulk," but I thought it pretty humorous - hope you do, too."

Naked Marionette

Lee writes:

Tuesday morning, my wife called me at home and said that I needed to take photos of a life-size puppet hanging in the trees above a bus stop near our apartment.

It looked a bit creepy hanging there amongst the trees, but the dedication that went into it is amazing. (the word on her chest says "shine") By Tuesday afternoon it had fallen down and by Wednesday afternoon it was gone. I hope the artist took it. It would be interesting to know who the artist was.

now THIS is art!

- Submitted by Josh, who writes: "This just randomly showed up on NE 20th and Davis, by a big parking lot. The funny thing is, there are a group of middle schoolers who have a bus stop right next to this new installation.

This also, by the way, is where the boot with the banana peel in it was. Go inner NE for weirdness!"
